The 21st Asian Refining Technology Conference (ARTC) is set to return to Kuala Lumpur from 23-25 April 2018. Taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, the event will draw senior representatives from the refining and petrochemical industries from across Asia.

Industry-leading content

The conference content covers a broad spectrum of the issues and challenges currently facing these industries, aiming to facilitate dialogue and create connections between refiners and their key technology and solution providers. The proceedings will kick off on April 23rd with a keynote address from Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof, Vice President, Refining and Trading at PETRONAS, and will span three days of discussion on environmental regulations, new technologies, the changing face of the fuel market in Asia and much more.
Confirmed speakers include senior representatives from Singapore Refining Company, Shell Global Solutions, PTT Global Chemical, Honeywell UOP, Reliance Industries, ExxonMobil and Thomson Reuters, among others.

Downstream goes Digital

One key feature of this year’s event is the additional third day, dedicated entirely to content on the digital transformation of the downstream sector. With in-depth case studies from experts including PETRONAS, Indian Oil and government agency CyberSecurity Malaysia, attendees will have access to a wealth of material on how to ensure they are making the most of the opportunities presented by digital technologies.

Get involved and Make New Contacts

The event is highly interactive in nature, with audience polls, Q&A sessions and two-way discussion actively encouraged. There are also plenty of chances to make new contacts and re-connect with old ones, with structured formats like Speed Networking, 1-2-1 meetings and designated networking breaks in between content sessions. Accompanied by an extensive industry exhibition, ARTC is the place to be for a timely, informed look at the Asian downstream sector.
